Leadership Principles Taught at Camp
Communication
It’s more than just listening. Communication take a two-way dialog in which understanding is exchanged between two or more individuals. Communication is a vital leadership and life skill.
Teaching/Learning
Exposing a problem and learning everything you can about that problem enables you to start teaching; but first you must know the proper structure of how to teach a skill or lesson.
Planning/Evaluating
Learning to properly plan and evaluate the results of an executed plan will prepare you to be successful in every aspect of life!
Counseling
Everyone faces major hurdles in life that cause grief and pain, counseling is a tool to help those you love in such a state. Counseling is probably one of the most important leadership skills you can learn because it enables you to help those you love work through their own problems.
Controlling The Group
Controlling a group in a way that allows people to lead themselves. As a leader we try to keep things organized and calm by learning to control a group in the right way.
